Amy Evans Holistc is the trading name of my sole trader life coaching business. I am a certified life coach, NLP practitioner and Kinesiologist. I provide 121 coaching and holistic therapy face to face and online.

What is personal data?
Personal data is information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. Examples include an individual’s name, address, contact details, but also age, date of birth and gender.

For the purpose of safeguarding and processing criminal conviction and offence data responsibly, this data is treated in the same manner as special categories of personal data, where we are legally required to comply with specific data processing requirements.
Collection of personal data
At Amy Evans Holistic I collect the following data:
Names, emails, relevant health information, date of birth, courses previously studied (if partaking in one of my courses). This data is collected via the booking system on amyevansholistic.com, via the newsletter signup on amyevansholistic.com, during client sessions online or face to face, via course signup forms and via email correspondence.
How we use personal data or / why do we need your personal data
Personal data is it only used to work with and contact individual clients and to send email newsletters if the individual has signed up. I may also occasional contact individuals to market new products and services and to tell them about new events and courses.

How we protect your personal data
Soft copies of client records are stored in a password protected, secure cloud environment. Hard copies of client records in a secured filing store?

Amyevansholistic.com serves as a promotional website for the business and host the booking system. The only cookies and IP tracking on the website is for Google Analytics.
Links / social media
Any websites linked to from amyevansholistic.com are not associated with the business and operate under their own privacy policies. Not data is shared with other organisations or businesses. To unsubscribe from the newsletter, select the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email.

Amy Evans Holistic has the right to keep client records (adults) for at least 7 years in line with Balens insurance policy and minors for at least 7 years after they have turned 18.
The GDPR includes the following rights for individuals:

ï the right to erasure;
ï the right to restrict processing;
ï the right to data portability;
ï the right to object; and

How long do we keep your personal information?
Amy Evans Holistic has the right to keep client records (adults) for at least 7 years in line with Balens insurance policy and minors for at least 7 years after they have turned 18.

Legality
For the purposes of meeting the Data Protection Act 2018 territorial scope requirements, the United Kingdom is the named territory where the processing of personal data takes place.
Any dispute or claim arising out of this Privacy Policy and the use of your personal information will be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any such dispute or claim.
